Time for some more spoilers from the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan. In this recap, we'll take a look at Rob Kardashian who quit his longtime publicist, following a family feud and rumors that he has a lovechild.
It's no secret that Rob has been going through a lot this past year, battling both weight gain and depression. Perhaps that's why he chose to leave his longtime publicist, Jill Fritzo.
It was announced this week that both Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were severing ties with PR rep Jill Fritzo, and now it appears that Rob has cut ties as well.
This seems only logical as New York Daily News tells readers:
"Khloe and Kourtney's sister Kim dropped Fritzo in September 2013, soon after getting together with Kanye West, in favor of Ina Treciokas at Slate PR...Mom Jenner and brother Rob Kardashian followed suit, handling their PR in-house through Jenner Communications."
This latest news did shock many, as Rob has reportedly been feuding with his mother for quite some time. And it's pretty clear why this may be the case.
On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris can be seen openly discussing Rob's weight gain, even revealing the exact amount of pounds he has gained.
Maybe this is why Rob is rumored to need intervention. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, everyone wants Rob to enter rehab. The popular gossip site also suggests that it was Lamar Odom, Khloe's estranged husband, who got Rob doing drugs in the first place:
"Rather than just providing an older brother type example for Rob, Lamar got him in deep with booze and drugs and when Lamar and Khloe's marriage crashed Rob's drug problem remained...Rather than being a functioning member of society, Rob has instead become a hermit, spending his days hiding out while hopped up on pain killers and sizzurp."
What do you think about the latest news? Does it make sense for the entire family to abandon their longtime PR rep? Do you think Rob really needs rehab?
