Despite months of reports that Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z are headed towards divorce over Jay's alleged cheating, it looks like the two are going to make it after all. Beyonce's mom recently spoke with a popular gossip website, where she refuted claims that the duo would be breaking up over the elevator fight heard round the world.
Jay Z and Beyonce may be relatively tight lipped when it comes to discussing the status of their family, but not everyone shares their sense of secrecy.
This is especially true of Tina Knowles, Beyonce's mom. TMZ recently caught up with Mama Knowles outside of Via Alloro, and she let viewers know that Bey and Jay are doing just fine, as the gossip site reports:
"Beyonce and Jay Z are NOT breaking up ... in fact, their relationship is 'perfect' ... so says a woman who would definitely know -- Beyonce's mom...Tina Knowles was leaving lunch with Kelly Rowland at Via Alloro in Bev Hills -- and in a super-rare moment, actually opened up about rumors that B and J's marriage is on the rocks...Mama Knowles even had some choice words for people like Akon."
While fans are still obsessed with the potential divorce of Beyonce and Jay Z, they may soon forget all of the elevator fight drama, when they get a chance to see Jay and Bey's On the Run tour from the comfort of their own home.
On September 20, HBO will be airing their joint concert venture. But until then, you can check out a teaser video over at Christian Post, who also provided the following description:
"The teaser starts out with Beyonce singing "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" by Cher and famously covered by Nancy Sinatra, while Jay Z watches and smokes a cigar. The black and white visuals, which shows Beyonce in a slinky, sparkly dress and pointing her fingers at Jay Z, fuels the impending divorce rumors that have hounded the famous pair all throughout their tour."
