Married Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi Cheating Divorce Split: Ex-Boyfriend Engagement Revealed? [PHOTO UPDATE]

Despite constant rumors that they are on the verge of splitting up and getting divorced due to cheating and emotional abuse, day time talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi recently celebrated their six wedding anniversary. And just to make sure folks realized that were as happy as they are desperate for you to believe that they are happy, Portia posted the happy news to Twitter. In a slightly less predictable turn of events, Ellen' high-school ex-boyfriend Ben Heath granted an interview for the very first time ever. According to the dating news update, DeGeneres was all set to marry Ben and wanted to get engaged, but the cowboy just wasn't ready. So when he went off the college, they forlornly split up.

Never letting the world forget that they are still together, regardless of what the tabloids say about their Hollywood marriage, Portia de Rossi jumped at the chance to update Twitter with the news that her marriage to Ellen DeGeneres lasted another year:

"Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary. Six!"

Portia may be Ellen's last love, but she definitely wasn't his first.

Believe it or not, her first love was a teenage boy from Atlanta, Texas, named Ben Heath.

In his first interview ever on the subject, Heath, 57, told Star Magazine for their September 1, issue that though two never consummated their relationship, he is certain they would get along great today even if she is gay:

"It was very proper...It was just the way it should have been done.

"I'm pleased to look back and say that.

"I feel like we would have been good friend had she stayed here, regardless of her sexual orientation."

According to the publication Ellen spoke about the relationship back when she came out in 1997 and claimed that she would have married Ben had he not refused:

"I wanted to marry Ben desperately.

"I'm sure I'd have a nice place with Ben somewhere, and we'd have kids, and I wouldn't have known.

"I could have chosen to live my life in a way just to fit into society. But I would not be happy."

Ah...but that way, Portia may have been happy enough for the both of them.
