Although it seems a little odd for a born-again virgin to be giving Season 10 Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, relationship advice, ABC's Season 17 Bachelor, Sean Lowe, is taking it upon himself to let the former assistant DA that her fiancé Josh Murray is not her soul mate. Meanwhile, America's most reviled Bachelor to date, Season 18's Juan Pablo Galavis, has been busy with his winner/girlfriend, Nikki Ferrell, attacking the trolls that follow them on Twitter. Haters going to hate.
Before ABC's Season 10 Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, gets too carried away with pretending she's found the only man for her, Bachelor alumni Sean Lowe wants her to reconsider and remember how much work it's going to take to love this virtual stranger.
In a rambling blog post entitled "Dear Andi, Josh Is Not Your Soul Mate," Lowe explains that although he believes strongly in a lot things, the concept of a soul mate isn't one off them.
According to Sean, if you want to really fall in love with someone you sort of have to force yourself to do it over time (via Us Weekly):
"Falling in love while globetrotting the world was the easy part. Learning how to love someone you've spent a collective 20 hours with is the really hard part."
"I'd tell them that the post-show/pre-marriage time frame will be one of the most challenging. But mainly, I'd tell them not to elevate the other to the level of 'soul mate.'
"It sets everyone up for unrealistic expectations and emphasizes the romance over the hard work of building a relationship."
And after all, Lowe knows what he's talking about--he and Catharine Giudici have been married since all the way back in January.
In related news, Nikki Ferrell is learning that is you can't take it than you shouldn't dish it on Twitter, after being drawn into a war or words with the internet trolls.
On August 11, Nikki let it be known that she doesn't think to highly of current Bachelor in Paradise star Elise Mosca's I.Q.
Ferrell apparently didn't realize, however, that people think even less of her and her boyfriend than they do "Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez; so in response, the Twitter hordes let loose the arrows of contempt one after another.
Before it was all said and done even Juan Pablo got into the action--defending his woman and hating the haters.
Thanks for keeping it classy Juan Pablo.
