It's a brand new day for The Metropolitan Opera.
After ending what almost spilled into a hasty lockout, the Opera is back in action and with an extensive list of performances live streamed at BAM from October 11 to April 25.
As the unions slip back into the effervescing grind, the upcoming season at the Met comes highly anticipated.
And, despite Peter Gelb's questionable expenses for the Met's live sets, one thing he did get right is expanding their media department, which provides live simulcasts of performances to audiences around the globe.
This time, you can find them in Brooklyn at BAM Rose Cinemas.
A list of performances can be found on the BAM website--from Anna Netrebko in Macbeath and Lolanta/Bluebeard's Castle to Renee Fleming in The Merry Widow to Richard Eyre's enchanting depiction of Bizet's Carmen.
