Dating Taylor Swift and Boyfriend John Mayer NOT Back Together After Split: Racist “Shake It Off” Video Draws Fire? [PHOTO NEWS]

Don't worry Taylor Swift fans. The Instagram feet model hasn't lost her mind and, by all accounts, is not dating ex-boyfriend John Mayer again, despite their having been spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont at very near the same time on Wednesday evening. They may have been there at the same time, but rumors has it they were not there together and definitely aren't thinking of starting their sad romance back up. Swift might need to think of a good way to address the latest gossip news updates that repots plenty of folks are pretty angry at Swift's recent music video for new album single, "Shake It Up." Though few claim the video is overtly racist, there are growing concerns it reinforces ugly stereotypes.

Just because Taylor Swift and her old beau, John Mayer, like to go to the same fancy places doesn't necessarily mean they are dating.

According to coverage by TMZ, the former A-list couple were seen leaving the swanky Chateau Marmont at similar times very late in the evening this week.

Taylor's reps spoke to E! News to let them know, however, that though John may have been in the same place, Swift never so much as even spoke a word to him:

"Taylor was with Lily Aldridge and never saw Mr. Mayer at Chateau Marmont."

What people unmistakably have seen is Taye-Taye newest video for her single "Shake It Off", and some people really seem to have a problem with the message they feel it is seemingly sending about the black community (via Huffington Post):

"The clip features Swift trying and failing to fit in with a number of subcultures, including that of ballerinas and break-dancers, but the scenes causing an uproar are the ones in which Swift crawls between the legs of a line of twerking dancers.

"The clip has spurred a negative reaction from commentators including Odd Future's Earl Sweatshirt, who expressed his displeasure by tweeting that the video is 'perpetuating black stereotypes to the same demographic of white girls who hide their prejudice by proclaiming their love of the culture.'"

So...while the verdict still seems to be out about whether or not Taylor Swift is a closeted racist, wh know that Swift definitely isn't seeing John Mayer, except when she's sometimes at the Chateau Marmont.
