True Blood is coming to close this Sunday, but don’t worry, Alexander Skarsgard has already found his next, mostly-shirtless, adventure. Skarsgard is currently working on a new Tarzan movie. However, don’t expect to see him a loincloth in the new film, it takes place after the Jungle King has been domesticated.
Recently, Alexander Skarsgard spoke to Vulture about the new Tarzan movie.
“The movie begins in London in the late 1800s, and he's already there, he's been there for about eight years with Jane, and then he goes back to the Congo where he was born and raised with Jane, so at least in the beginning, he's dressed as a British lord. And then a lot of things happen in Africa, obviously. But no loincloth, no.”
HeyUGuys, has offered a more detailed plot description, reporting:
"It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash."
