For months now, rumors have been flying that Beyonce and Jay Z will be getting a divorce over Jay's alleged cheating. And now with their joint concert, On the Run, debuting on HBO, the duo are likely hoping that everyone can forget about the nasty elevator fight that started the breakup rumors in the first place.
If you weren't one of the lucky few who got to see Jay Z and Beyonce perform together during their joint concert venture, then you are in luck. HBO will be airing portions of the concert soon.
Fans will get their chance to check out the musical extravaganza on September 20th, though they can view the trailer now, as Christian Post reveals:
"The teaser starts out with Beyonce singing "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" by Cher and famously covered by Nancy Sinatra, while Jay Z watches and smokes a cigar. The black and white visuals, which shows Beyonce in a slinky, sparkly dress and pointing her fingers at Jay Z, fuels the impending divorce rumors that have hounded the famous pair all throughout their tour."
Of course, what everyone is still talking about is the elevator fight heard round the world. Back in May, video footage was released that showed Solange Knowles brutally attacking Jay Z at the Met Gala.
While all parties involved issued a joint statement saying everything is cool, many media outlets aren't buying it. According to a recent Hollywood Life article, Beyonce will be filing for divorce in New York:
"'She'll file for divorce in New York,' an insider told Us Weekly. 'Lawyers are already involved.' The couple have already drafted up the announcement they will send to the Associated Press if they do make the announcement, the report claims... Beyonce was forced to come face-to-face with the rumors circulating that Jay Z had been unfaithful."
What do you think about the latest rumors? Is there any truth to claims that Jay and Bey will be breaking up? Do you think that Jay Z really cheated on his beautiful wife? Why did Solange kick Jay Z in the elevator?
