When it comes to Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, who has been accused of cheating on his wife, rumors continue to fly that the couple may be headed towards divorce. Now a new report suggests that Beyonce will address the divorce rumors at the VMAs, following Jay Z and Solange's elevator fight heard round the world.
Beyonce and Jay Z may have avoided discussing the wave of divorce rumors surrounding them, but that doesn't mean they are going to be silent forever.
According to a new report, Beyonce is looking to address those pesky breakup rumors in a very public way. One source tells Hollywood Life that Bey will be making a major statement at the VMAs:
"Beyonce wants to tackle the rumors in the best way she knows how, on stage...During her performance, she is looking to do something to hopefully silence all the haters and the critics but, in true entertainment fashion, to make even more questions come out of it. She wants to make a statement that people will be talking about for a very long time."
Of course, not every news outlet is in agreement. Many publications are suggesting that Bey and Jay are over.
This was certainly the case with popular gossip publication, Page Six. According to one source, Bey and Jay are trying to make it work, but, ultimately, it will fail:
"There's still something there, even though it's not going to last...Business is always part of the equation. They know they're the king and queen of hip-hop - and really, all of music. Neither wants to lose that."
