Reports from a few weeks ago that Britney Spears and her boyfriend David Lucado had split after the Pieces of Me star demanded they get engaged and pregnant as soon as possible, seem to be false. Whether they got back together or were never having problems in the first place, the "Toxic" diva and her back up dancer beau are clearly still happily dating. Spears career is looking better than it has in years, as well, thanks to her Planet Hollywood residency in Las Vegas. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Instagram feet model is being offered another $12 million to extend the run 30 more dates through Christmas 2016.
Britney Spears and her boyfriend David Lucado seem to be getting along swimmingly these days, despite the rumors that they had already broken up.
For Spears just being able to date someone outside of the music business, for a change, is refreshing enough that it's worth trying to stick it out (via Daily Mail):
"I think it does kind of helps...dating someone not in the business.
"I mean I could kind of understand how if you dated someone in the business they would get it, what you're going through every day and stuff."
A supposed insider, who spoke to Us Weekly for their August 25 issue, insisted that Lucado seems absolutely perfect for Britney:
"They have this flirty relationship with a sexual vibe.
"Her boys [Preston, 8, and Jayden, 7] really like him...They laugh a lot, which she needs."
And if Spears and her backup dancer boyfriend ever do decide to tie the knot, Britney will have plenty of money to pay for a lavish ceremony if she signs the $12 million 30 date extension to her Las Vegas residency.
Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner told NY Daily News that he couldn't see any reason that business Britney would pass up the opportunity:
"Britney Spears has been a great success for the company and will be extended, if she wants to do it, and I cannot see why not."
Not bad for the lady everyone wrote off as a crazy has-been just a year or so ago.
