The 43-year-old Iron Man 2 writer recently spoke to Vulture about the possibility returning to the Marvel universe, as an actor:

“There are younger guys than me that are better at it than I am. I’ll leave it up to them. But I can’t wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy. That’s going to be f*****g cool. I could’ve been Groot. ”

Justin went on to further explain why he doesn’t want desire an onscreen role in the MCU:

“No, I don’t know. It’s a weird thing. Maybe it’s a separation of church and state. I had so much fun making that movie with those guys. I felt just so happy to be a part of it. Those guys are just unreal at what they do. They just create such amazing films. You know, say what you want about superhero movies and how much they make and how much they hurt other movies. I don’t buy any of it. I just think they’re so good.”
