Rumors are once again flying that Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z, who is accused of cheating on his wife, may be headed towards divorce. And now a popular U.S. tabloid is reporting that their elevator-fight-turned breakup is real.
Things have not been going great for Hip Hop's biggest celebrity couple, following their Met Gala attendance back in May. Though no one would have ever guessed that the two were having problems, video footage released from an elevator painted a much different picture.
Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, was seen assaulting Jay Z multiple times. Since then, it has been rumored that Jay Z was cheating on his beautiful wife.
And now it seems that the couple could be ready to call it quits. According to a recent article by Hollywood Life, Beyonce will be filing for divorce in New York:
"'She'll file for divorce in New York,' an insider told Us Weekly. 'Lawyers are already involved.' The couple have already drafted up the announcement they will send to the Associated Press if they do make the announcement, the report claims... Beyonce was forced to come face-to-face with the rumors circulating that Jay Z had been unfaithful."
Sadly, this isn't the only publication to predict doom for the one-time happy couple. Even Forbes has started reporting on the alleged divorce, downplaying the drama's effect on ticket prices.
But that's not the case with popular gossip publication, Page Six. According to one source, Bey and Jay are trying to make it work, but, ultimately, it will fail:
"There's still something there, even though it's not going to last...Business is always part of the equation. They know they're the king and queen of hip-hop - and really, all of music. Neither wants to lose that."
