‘Game of Thrones’ Ned Stark Sean Bean New TNT Drama ‘Legends’ Premiere Episode Spoilers

Tonight is the premiere of TNT’s new drama, Legends. The new series stars Game of Thrones and Lord of The Rings star Sean Bean. The former Ned Stark actor recently opened up about his new character’s many personalities. Check out the preview below to see what the new series is all about.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s premiere episode, reads:

“Deep undercover agent Martin Odum (Sean Bean) tries to reconnect with his estranged family following an assignment, but he must return to work when a terror group announces an imminent attack in the premiere of this drama series. Based on spy novelist Robert Littell's book.”

The new series stars Sean Bean as an undercover agent with multiple personality disorder. Recently Bean spoke with Vulture about his new character(s):

“He is a Method actor! I guess if you were a real undercover guy, you'd be thinking, ‘How do Method actors do this?’ Actors like Daniel Day-Lewis, Gary Oldman, they totally immerse themselves in their parts. And I think that's what Martin Odum does with his characters, even down to what kind of food he eats, what he drives, where he lives--he's got his own car and apartment for each of them. Everything's different for each legend, and he doesn't stray away from that. Because he can't. He's dealing with these guys, who are really dangerous guys, a bit of unsavory characters, so he's got to totally believe that he's someone else. And therefore, he gets these psychological repercussions, these conflicts in his head, trying to get out of that character. And most Method actors, they do find it difficult to get out of character. It can take weeks or months to get it out of your brain. So it would be a real dangerous thing to take on, if you were a real undercover guy.”

Check out the new series tonight at 9:00 p.m. on TNT.
