There is a new health update for Tracy Moran. The SNL and 30 Rock actor was severely injured earlier in the year when a Wal-Mart tractor truck crashed into his limo bus. Now Morgan’s lawyer has spoken publically about Morgan’s condition, his lawsuit and his leg ambition rumors.
Tracy Morgan’s legal counsel Benedict Morelli recently appeared on NBC’s Today Show, where spoke to Matt Lauer about Morgan’s condition:
“He’s still struggling, but he’s a fighter. He’s had issues before that he’s fought through and he’s fighting hard,The interesting thing is that, at the beginning, the internet was saying that he was dead, and then they said they amputated his leg. Now it’s coming out that he’s doing great--none of those things are true or accurate.”
Morgan’s publicist Lewis Kay previously address the completely unfounded leg amputation rumors recently on behalf of Morgan’s fiance Megan Wollover (Via a press statement):
“The concern for his well-being has been overwhelming, but Megan [Morgan’s fiance] is respectfully asking that the media await official word through these channels before speculating (mostly inaccurately) on his condition. Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated.”
Morgan’s new FXX has officially been put on hold while he is recovering. The FX network has released a statement about the series:
“The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident. We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery. At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families.”
