HBO ‘The Leftovers’ New Episode Spoilers After ‘West Wing’ Janel Moloney Subway Hero Reports

HBO’s hit new series The Leftovers is all new tonight. Check out the plot preview below to see what super depressing things will happen tonight. Speaking, of bumming us out, one of the show’s more heartbreaking moments was when we met Pastor Jamisons bed ridden wife, played by The West Wing’s Janel Moloney. Now it is being reported that Moloney might just be real life hero.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Leftovers, titled “Cairo,” reads:

“Kevin wonders if his grip on reality is slipping after falling into a difficult situation with Patti, the leader of the Guilty Remnant. Meanwhile, Meg loses her cool during another encounter with Matt; Jill wants Aimee to explain her relationship with Kevin; and Nora shows Laurie she won't back down.”

West Wing alum Janel Moloney, who plays Christopher Eccleston's invalided wife, reportedly rushed to the rescue of a person in need. NYDailyNews Confidential column recently reported on Moloney’s heroic actions, quoting an on the scene witness:

“I was coming back from a meeting on the subway on the M train and this woman in her 20s passed out in the train car. When we get to the station someone pulled the emergency thingy and there was this big flurry of excitement, and people were crowding around her on the platform and trying to make her feel better...I’m pretty sure the woman who passed out didn’t know, got off the train car, went and kneeled by the woman, actually put [the sick woman’s] head in her lap, and was just being very sweet and helpful. And then I looked closer and it was Donna Moss [Moloney’s West Wing character] Well, Janel Moloney. I mean, it just warmed my heart. She even took out her juice and let the girl drink some. She looked great, by the way.”

Check out the all new episode of The Leftovers tonight at 10:00 p.m. on HBO.
