Apparently the Scientologists don't play around when it comes to palling around with their sworn enemies. Word has it the Dancing with the Stars winner Maksim Chmerkovskiy has been frozen out by one-time friend and renowned Church of Scientology practitioner Kirstie Alley. According to the latest gossip news updates, the rotund Cheers alum told Maks in no certain terms that she was done with him, unless he split with his reported American Idol girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez. It's said that Alley and her fellow cult members have declared all out intergalactic war on J-Lo's Instagram booty bestie, Leah Remini. It would seem that Maks is going to be too close to the infidel if he continues to be the former Fly Girl's current boyfriend. After losing her last cheating boyfriend, Casper Smart, to an affair with one transsexual, it's doubtful that the 'AKA' singer is going to let Kirstie get in the way of her happiness with Mr. Maks.
Believe it or not, Kirstie Alley's religion is the reported reason for her and former crush Maksim Chmerkovskiy having recently distanced themselves from one another publicly.
According to a report in Star Magazine's current August 18 issue, Alley and the rest of her space sect have a real problem with the sort of people Maksim has been spending his time with lately:
"The Scientology actress has cut [Chmerkovskiy] out of her life because of his romance with Jennifer Lopez, whose pal Leah Rimini abruptly left Scientology last July.
"Not only does Kirstie count Leah as an enemy, branding her a 'bigot,' but clearly she feels that Maks should agree."
Though one should usually take this kind of speculation with a grain of salt, Maksim seemingly confirmed the entire story himself in the gossip piece:
"We had a great relationship...but I got the message now that [since] I am associating with other people that she can't be associated with me, I am no longer to be spoken with.
"I think the world of her, [but] I don't believe in science fiction."
Fellow celeb Chrissy Tiegen, on the other hand, had nothing but the nicest things to say about J-Lo and her culture-shifting butt.
The way Tiegen recently explained it, Lopez change many people's ideas about what a high-end hiney was supposed to look like (via TV 3):
"I didn't know butts were a thing until I was 23.
"Then came Jennifer Lopez and people were like, 'That butt is great.' Now you have to have a butt. It sucks for me.''
Better not let Kirstie Alley hear you talking like that...or you won't get invited to the CoS Wednesday night pot-luck.
