‘Jurassic Park 4’s’ Chris Pratt Talks ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’ Weight Loss After Fat Vince Vaughn ‘Deliver Man’ Movie

Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy is out in theaters now and fans are seeing a different side of Chris Pratt. The Parks and Rec funny man has transformed himself into a bona fide action hero. One of Pratt’s last on-screen roles was in 2013’s Delivery Man with Vince Vaughn, where he likely weighed his heaviest. Pratts new buff leading man body has even landed him a role in the upcoming Jurassic Park 4: Jurassic World.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is winning over fans by the theater full, thanks in no small part to the charming leading man Chris Pratt. One of Pratt’s last seen roles on the screen was when he was much heavier, in Vince Vaughn’s Delivery Man. Pratt actully gained a lot of weight for that role. Last year Pratt spoke with Huffington Post about his weight gain:

“I look a lot different now, but, you know, I saw some stills recently of me in a bathrobe and, I mean, I was rocking like a 44-inch waist. I got to almost 300 pounds. I was like 295 at my highest. So that is a lot for me. That's about 50 pounds higher than my median average. And I've been sort of gaining and losing weight over the past few years for different roles, but this was the fattest I ever got. So, I'm just glad that I'm not that big anymore--so then I can enjoy watching it. But, if I felt like I was still that big, I'd probably be self-conscious to watch it. Knowing I got there and was able to get back down makes me proud of it.”
Don’t expect Pratt to back on his weight anytime soon. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has officially been confirmed.
