The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie comes out this weekend, Friday August 8th. The film reunites Transformers star Megan Fox with her old boss Michael Bay. Like with almost any other Micheal Bay and or Megan Fox film, fans of the original source material are not very happy with their involvement. However, Megan Fox has a few words for the haters, and two of those words are “f**k off.” That is right, Megan Fox has told reporters that fans who don’t love the money can “f**k off,” because its gonna make money anyway.
Your normal movie press tour is full of a lot fluffy about how great the film. Especially those involving beloved childrens icons and made by Nickelodeon Studios. You really don’t expect a whole lot of F-Bombs being dropped during press events. However, that is just what Megan Fox did when asked about the pre release fan bashing for the new film (Via Cinemablend):
"Let me tell you something about those people. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain--they all go to the theater. They’re gonna love it – and if they don’t love it, they can f**k off, and that’s the end of that."
Wow! Those are some strong words from Fox, but are they true. Hollywood does seem be putting up and worse and worse films, (Iron Man 3, The Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel) and moviegoers just keep eating them up they are a tub of overpriced popcorn.
Megan Fox didn’t lower the bar for America, she is just making one hell of a living off it. If you want them to stop playing fast and loose with beloved comics, then stop buying tickets.
