It looks like Sean Penn is going to win the divorce with ex-wife Robin Wright. Word has it that, though they have only been dating a few months, Penn is already engaged to his Mad Max girlfriend, Charlize Theron. According to the latest tabloid gossip news updates, Charlize was spotted sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger whilst coming back in to the country last week. Word has it that Sean and Charlie plan to seal the deal with an August ceremony after they return from filming Last Face in South Africa, where they planned to adopt in lieu of a pregnancy. So it seems Robin and her new fiancé, Ben Foster, have less than thirty days to beat their nemeses down the aisle, in order to prove that they are the happier couple.
Despite having only dated for a few months, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn are ready to spend their lives together, according to all the latest rumors.
It's been reported in Life & Style Magazine's August 11 issue that Charlie was seen making her way through LAX with what was unmistakenly an engagement ring on her wedding finger.
An insider who spoke to the publication claimed that Sean and Charlize already have the whole event all planned out:
"They want 200 guests on or near the beach in Malibu.
"And they want a laid back reception with a barbecue!"
Adding some validity to all the speculation is Penn's daughter Dylan, who recently posed completely nude for Treats! Magazine, publicly commenting that everyone was more than ready to accept Charlize into the family (via Perez Hilton):
"Always. Sure, why not? If it's meant to be.
"They're a great couple. They're both very happy and yeah, I love it.
"They're both extremely strong personalities and they're very intelligent so conversation lasts between them."
