Regardless of what you may have read on the intrawebs, Insurgent's Instagram feet model Shailene Woodley and her Underworld beau, Theo James, aren't dating. It's not that the pair have split, Tris and Four were never seeing each other off the Divergent set in the first place. According to the gossip news updates, Woodley wouldn't be interested in James anyway; she is said to currently be seeing Canada's little gay Juno, Ellen Page, while Theo has been with his girlfriend, Ruth Kearney, for years. In related news, Woodley's Fault of Our Stars boyfriend Ansel Elgort's EDM hit "Totem" officially broke the iTunes Top 10. Ansel, whose DJ moniker is Ansolo, broke the news last week via Twitter.
While a draught in news has Insurgent gossip writers fishing for new angels on exactly how Theo James' workout routine could prove that he is secretly in love with Shailene Woodley, Tris' brother Ansel Elgort is making some legitimate news of his own.
Apparently, Ansel isn't just another pretty face pretending to have cancer to get next to sexy Shailene Woodley, while simultaneously finding fame and fortune in the movie business; Ansolo is also a badass bass-driving musical force to be reckoned with.
During a relatively recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Elgort described his sound as sort of African acid house:
"My alter ego's name is Ansolo, and I just make club music, progressive house.
"My style is clubby and groovy--you can jump to it, but you don't just have to just jump to it.
"It's not just really bass-heavy and hurts your ears; you move with it, and it sounds kind of tribal."
Ansel has yet to hit the level of success with his music that his films have enjoyed, but for a guy who only has two songs out, he's getting there.
July 21, Elgort announced that he had reached his first major iTunes milestone, via Twitter:
"GUYS WE ARE F--KING # 10 ON ITUNES DANCE CHARTS!!! YESSSS!!!"
All that's left to do now is put together a whole album...or at least an EP.
