For months now we've seen reports that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, who is pregnant with his baby, are headed towards a breakup. Those claims have taken a backseat today, as Eva's new fashion collection was revealed.
Eva Mendes certainly knows how to stay in the headlines. Just weeks after it was revealed that she is pregnant with her first child, the fashionista has launched a new line of clothing through NY & Co.
While the line has an impressive range, there was one noticeable look missing. As E! News tells its readers, no maternity pieces made the cut:
"Eva Mendes may be expecting her first child with Ryan Gosling (and stirring up envy in women across the nation), but she's sticking to non-maternity wear when it comes to her latest collection with New York & Company...Eva's fall 2014 collection for the brand includes plenty of chic dresses, separates and accessories galore to get you through the season."
Of course, this latest news will only quell the baby bump breakup rumors for so long. After all, her relationship with acting hottie Ryan Gosling has been tabloid fodder for months.
Most of the articles claimed that Ryan and Eva were surely headed towards heartbreak. And while the details often varied, Ryan was usually responsible (for allegedly refusing to marry his bombshell girlfriend).
And if Gosling was trying to keep things from getting less serious, he failed. Radar Online, one of the world's most popular gossip sites, tells their readers that Eva's pregnancy wasn't a planned event.
And no one was more surprised than Ryan, especially when you factor in all of their reported troubles:
"It was completely unplanned. Ryan was surprised, especially because they had broken up early last year, only to get back together... Their disagreements always come back to a central issue: Eva wants to marry Ryan, but so far, he has resisted."
