The legendary Dusty Rhodes has a new protégé in NXT developmental, it seems. Prince Devitt just signed with WWE after wrestling in Japan as a series of comic book characters like the Joker and Spider-Man, and the American Dream has taken him under his wing. Or, in Dusty's case, his elbow.
Fresh off a hot run in Japan, Devitt is ready to break into the mainstream (via TMZ):
"Fergal Devitt started fine tuning his moves Monday morning at WWE's Performance Center in Orlando ... and none other than Dusty Rhodes gave him a tour."
The only question is, what will his gimmick be? His old one might not be legal (via Cage Side Seats):
"Last but not least, there's been a ton of discussion of if Devitt will be able to continue with his pop culture ring entrances and body paints in WWE, since most are of licensed characters."
