New LA Laker Carlos Boozer is fighting for a starting position on the struggling franchise's roster. The journeyman power forward might be a good fit for the Lakers on the court, but don't let him pick the flick on team movie night, because he thinks Scarface is a better Al Pacino vehicle than The Godfather.
The man-child, rookie Julius Randle, is Boozer's competition for the power forward spot. While he has youth and speed on his side, Boozer is a wily veteran that has been a big contributor in the past (via Bleacher Report):
"Boozer... was a key catalyst in Utah's rebuilding project following the departures of John Stockton and Karl Malone."
When asked about his favorite gangster flick, however, dude's got his priorities all mixed up (via TMZ):
"Boozer says it's a hard choice -- dude's got so many classics -- but at the end of the day, he's riding with the coke cartel flick over the mafia movie."
