Irish golf sensation Rory McIlroy is reportedly getting his mind back on golf after celebrating big-time with his mom by filling his British Cup trophy with Jager. Apparently it's his favorite beverage. After winning his third major title at age 25, he's on pace to compete with Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus for most majors won.
It's important to celebrate with family. That's why McIlroy enlisted his mother to help with the bartending (via TMZ):
"It appears Rory's mom was part of the raging after-party ... and stabilized the Jug while one of Rory's pals loaded it up with the Jager like it was a college sophomore in 2003."
It's not just the recognition and prestige of winning the British Open. It's just as much about the big-ass trophy (via USA Today):
"I've sort of been taking pictures of it beside the TV and on top of the toilet and wherever it's been," he said. "It's definitely nice to have it in my possession."
