The hit Playstation 3 survival game, The Last of Us is not only getting a PS4 remastering, but it is heading to the big screen. Now, Game of Thrones Arya Stark actress, Maisie Williams is reportedly in talks to be cast as play the lead role of Ellie in the movie.
The game/film’s premise is not two far from Williams’ recent story arch on Game of Thrones.The games’s IMDB page offers the following plot description:
“A disillusioned man is tasked with bringing a young girl across America, her survival absolutely essential, as she may hold the key to mankind's future in a world overcome by a deadly virus.”
