One of singing sensation Jackie Evancho's premier stops on her American tour is Chicago's Symphony Center and the 12-year-old will make a special appearance on Jan. 24 to perform songs from her latest album.
Evancho will perform her "Songs From The Silver Screen," a current Billboard topper. Young Evancho was first sighted on "America's Got Talent" in 2010 and has since exploded onto the operatic stage.
Evancho is currently on tour and after her performance in Chicago, she will be at the CITI Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre on Feb.1. Evancho will be at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh on March 12 and come March 14 she will be in Toronto at the Roy Thomson Hall.
On May 4 she will be at New York's Avery Fisher Hall, she will then be at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Rhode Island May 9. Her final two performances will be on May 16 and May 18, respectively. The first will be at Cleveland's Palace Theater at Playhouse Square and her last show will be in Baltimore at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
"Close your eyes, and you'd swear you were listening to a fully adult chanteuse... The girl can sing," said the San Francisco Chronicle's. Joshua Kosman.
Evancho has with her "Songs From the Silver Screen," has bested operatic greats such as Andre Rieu, Lang Lang, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli and YouTube sensation The Piano Guys on the Billboard charts this year. She has not dropped from the top five since her album was made available.
