Cheating Dean McDermott and Broke Tori Spelling Divorce Rumors: Relieved Marriage Was Saved [UPDATE]

By now everyone is surely aware that Dean McDermott cheated on his wife Tori Spelling, who claims that she is now broke. And while it shocked everyone that Tori didn't divorce Dean, no one is more relieved than Dean that their marriage was saved.

Dean recently sat down with E! News, where he opened up about the whole cheating scandal. The reality star couldn't praise his wife enough for standing by his side.

According to Dean, Tori was upset but was too in love to leave him (via Hollywood Life):

"I wake up every morning and I'm just so blessed that she's in my life still. [Tori]'s such a strong lady, and when this happened I was like, 'Why don't you just leave me?' And she's like, 'Well, I love you, I can't just turn that off...I'm mad at you, I'm really upset, I'm really hurt - but I love you. That just doesn't go away.'"

Tori did a bit opening up, herself. In a separate interview with E! Online, she spoke about the present nature of her relationship.

Though it is still a daily struggle, Tori says that she and Dean are committed to making the marriage work:

"We're working on things. We're committed to being a family and moving forward and that's what we're trying to do-it's day by day. [We're] trying to rebuild our relationship and evolve..."

Of course, one of the reasons that Tori may be "trying to make it work" is because the entire scandal could be fake. From the first episode of True Tori, which focused entirely on Dean's unfaithfulness, critics and fans alike claimed that the show was fake.

Industry insiders even criticized the program's authenticity, though that wasn't even the most damning criticisms.

Those came from Dean's own son, who tweeted that the entire show was FAKE.

What do you think about Tori and Dean's latest comments? Did the scandal ever happen?
