‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast Update: Paul Walker Autopsy Alive After Crash; Vin Diesel Mixed Feelings of Replacement Brothers [VIDEO]

It wasn't always easy for the cast of Fast and Furious 7 to soldier on after the death of the franchise's star lead, Paul Walker, whose autopsy update revealed he was still alive immediately after the crash. Vin Diesel was rumored to be having troubles adjusting to working with Walker's GCI faced brothers according the gossip news, and it seems that, for once, the whispers were mostly true. In a recent interview the Riddick hero explained that is was virtually impossible to grieve his friend, while also trying to pretend he was still there in what would have been their scene together. Diesel was thankful that Caleb and Cody Walker helped complete their brother's Fast legacy, but was, at times, emotionally agitated by their presence on set.

How would have imagined that underneath the lughead exterior of Vin Diesel lay such a raw emotional core.

Universal already issued a statement during production regarding rumors that Vin was causing problems on-set--explaining that all the actors where adjusting to the difficulties of the project as best they could thanks to Diesel's decisive leadership.

In an interview with Extra, the action star opened up about what it was like dealing with such an emotional time, while trying to work as an actor:

"On some levels it was very cool to know his brothers were supporting this and wanting to help. On another level, they triggered memories, unintentionally at times.

"There's no one like Paul Walker and there was only one Paul Walker, and it is a very tricky task for an actor to both mourn and be in the process of that stage of mourning and also have to pretend that person is still there.

"It made the experience that much more arduous."

Apparently dropping his guard as well as the tough guys persona--Diesel recalled balling his eyes out when he was supposed to be pretending to be someone else:

"I am supposed to be in killer mode, but just being in the vehicle that was synonymous with Paul and myself, it was so hard to get through."

After nearly two decades in film, Vin diesel finally has his first relatable human moment.
