Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Divorce Rumors Addressed After Fan Slap Assault [UPDATE]

Tim McGraw has once again addressed rumors that he and wife Faith Hill could be headed towards divorce. McGraw also took time to address slapping a fan at a recent concert and the assault claims that followed.

Country legend Tim McGraw has had a busy few weeks. Not only has he had to address slapping a female fan in the face on tour, but he also had to talk about a slew of tabloids reporting that he and Faith Hill are close to calling it quits.

When appearing on Entertainment Tonight Canada, the singer was asked about all of the breakup speculation. Though Tim laughed off the frequent tabloid articles, he did express concern on what affect it was having on his children (via Gossip Cop):

"Since we've been together, we've been getting divorced the next year. The only time it becomes something, it doesn't upset me but it makes me take pause, is when you have kids and when your kids see something in a supermarket line or they hear something from their friends."

Though, not every media outlet is in agreement. The July 21 edition of Star, for example, claims that Tim and Faith are headed towards divorce.

One source told the publication that Faith and Tim fight constantly...and most of the time, it involves money. Despite being worth over $100 million, Tim still reportedly finds a way to overspend:

"[Tim and Faith] are struggling financially--that's why they do their Las Vegas shows--but Tim still spends like he is a billionaire, and it infuriates Faith. Miranda [Lambert] has told her to put a limit on Tim's credit cards."

As If this wasn't enough for Tim to deal with, he finds himself addressing a real controversy. At a recent concert gig, the country star slapped a female fan in the face.

And now he has decided to address those claims, telling ET Canada that his actions were totally instinctive:

"I think it was an unfortunate situation I think all the way around. But it happened, it happened in a split second, it was pure instinctive reaction, I think you just got to move on. It is one of those things that happen, nobody feels good about it, but there's nothing that could be done about it. You are in that position, you are out there, you are vulnerable, things happen and sometimes you react. There's nothing to be said about it."
