22 Singer Taylor Swift Polls Twitter 'Red' Songs for Grammy Performance

It's been a year of giving for country music star Taylor Swift. The “22" singer, who is slated to perform at the Grammys this weekend, has become renowned for her charitable activities. Now, she is even giving her Twitter followers the chance to weigh in on which of her songs from her new album Red she should sing.

It has already been a year of praise for Taylor Swift, who was recently named Tennessean of the Year. Not only does she donate her time to Make-A-Wish, she also gives money to many iconic Nashville organizations, like the the Nashville Symphony and the city’s public library.

Mayor of Nashville Karl Dean even thinks she is a boom to the town’s tourism economy (via Billboard):

“She’s one of the most dynamic and popular musical performers in the world, and she's perceived as having universal appeal across categories. She transcends genres, and that's a great thing for the city."

So it comes as no surprise that she is, seemingly, letting her fans vote on which of her songs she should perform on Grammy night this Sunday.

Swift recently posted a black and white photo of herself sitting at a piano during Grammy rehearsals, with the caption (via MTV):

“I'm trying to remember...What was the song a lot of you were saying you wanted me to perform at the #Grammys?”

It is typical Tay Tay to do whatever her fans want to make them happy. At Offbeat, we would like to cast a vote for "Freebird." We love that song.
