Anya Taylor-Joy's rise to stardom has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Known for her roles in popular movies and series, the actress has made a name for herself in Hollywood.

The 28-year-old star's journey is filled with experiences that shaped her into the talent she is today.

As she looks back on her past, "The Queen's Gambit" star's surprising influences sparked her creativity and drive, leading her to superstardom.

The Influence of Dance

During her early years, Taylor-Joy dedicated herself to ballet training, which she credits to enhancing her skills as a film actress in present times. In a recent interview with Vogue Hong Kong, she reflected on how her background in dance has positively influenced her acting career.

"My background as a dancer has helped me with everything in my life. It's not only the discipline that it instills in you."

The "Maleficent" star revealed, "I danced ballet from ages 3 to 15, and it doesn't matter if you go to a party; you're up at five o'clock in the morning to get to that six o'clock dance lesson."

The Thrill of Stunts and Aspirations

"I see acting as a rhythm thing; I almost hear it as music, and that helps so much with stunt choreography because you're in a dance with every other performer around you, so you don't only know your own beats, you know everybody else's beats in order to keep everyone safe."

Through dedicated practice and refinement of her abilities, Taylor-Joy highlighted the influence of her preparation on her ability to perform daring stunts in the movie, "Furiosa flawlessly: A Mad Max Saga." The rigorous training regimen reportedly gave her the confidence to execute thrilling feats in front of the lens.

"I relished the opportunity to be able to do as many stunts as I did, because there's a very specific perfectionism that comes with stunts," the "Split" actress said. "You can do something kind of right or you can get it completely right and that's not often the case in life. And I loved it."

Taylor-Joy also shared her aspirations for a Disney role that she holds dear. The actress expressed her enthusiasm and desire to portray Elsa in a potential adaptation of "Frozen."

"It would be very fun to shoot ice out of your hand."

She continued, "Also, you'd just be the favorite at every kid's birthday party. All of my siblings have children now, so I would love for them to be able to say 'my auntie is Elsa.' That would be pretty sick."

In addition, Taylor-Joy mentioned, "I would love to do a musical because I'm a bit addicted to hard work. I like having an impossible mountain to climb. The idea of having to be able to sing, dance, and act at the same time would just really thrill me."
