Recent baby bearer Kerry Washington is more that excited to be headed back to work on ABC's hit political drama Scandal. But don't expect her to reveal any upcoming Season 4 spoilers. Washington claims that she hasn't even seen the script yet. In related news Columbus Short, who was recently fired form the Shonda Rimes ran hit series, is being dealt another blow--for a change. The scandalized Scandal actor is has been ordered by a judge to pay nearly $22K in child support following the alleged assault of his estranged wife Tanee McCall.
Unlike some to be mentioned later, new mother Kerry Washington is excited to be returning to work on Shonda Rimes runaway network political hit series Scandal--though she is still coping with the secretive writing process.
In an interview with USA Today Kerry explained that the wild writing can be a challenge to adapt to specifically because you don't know where it is going to end up:
"We don't have a script yet. I don't even know if that plane is going to Turks and Caicos or maybe it had engine trouble and is in right back in D.C.
"I don't know where she's going...It's pretty crazy.
"You can't thrive with this material unless you're willing to embrace the unknown.
"I'm type A, hyper prepared-- it challenges me to surrender to these writers."
No doubt, former Scandal star Columbus Shot will be missing that regular ABC paycheck here pretty shortly, if not the regular network work.
According to the July 14, print edition of Us Weekly Columbus' people bill is going up, despite his losing his high profile occupation:
"Ex-Scandal star, Columbus Short, who was fired from the show amid his arrests for spousal battery and assault (he has pleaded not guilty)--has been ordered to pay estranged wife Tanee Short, $21,547 per month in child support.
"They couple have a 2-year-old daughter."
Good luck to Columbus Short in all his future endeavors and title bouts.
