When it comes to Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, the tabloids are certain that the couple will breakup in 2014. Now reports suggest that Eva could be dating Zac Efron, who recently got out of rehab. These latest reports come after Ryan's new movie (and directorial debut) bombed at Cannes.
Perhaps for the first time in recorded history, the following phrase will be uttered: Ryan Gosling may have some competition keeping his girlfriend.
The heartthrob actor, whose rumored breakup with Eva Mendes has been the subject of numerous tabloid articles, could be sparring off against a much younger man.
According to a new report by Perez Hilton, this is the case when it comes to former cocaine addict and all around super hunk, Zac Efron. If the source is accurate, Zac could have his sights set on Eva:
"Zac has compiled a 'wish list' of eligible women - and Eva Mendes heads the list. Zac wants to date someone who's not intimidated by fame and who can challenge him intellectually. He's always loved her look and thought Ryan Gosling was insane not to put a ring on her finger. If she was even remotely interested he'd jump at the chance."
If this is true, then that means things have gone from bad to worse for RyGos. His newest movie (which also serves as his directorial debut) was panned at Cannes, being widely considered one of the worst films at the festival.
Not to mention, numerous tabloid reports have suggested that Ryan and Eva are going to breakup. In fact, one source told OK! that it's Ryan's inability to commit which has caused serious problems:
"For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
What do you think about the latest rumors? Is there any chance that Ryan could have his lady taken by Zac Efron?
