For a while now, rumors have been flying that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will be getting a divorce in 2013. The couple has once again denied ridiculous tabloid speculation, including claims that Tim cheated, Faith is pregnant and McGraw may be gay. Despite the rampant speculation, Faith and Tim aren’t planning on breaking up anytime soon.
Faith and Tim find themselves on the defense, yet again. In a recent interview with People, Faith opened up about the latest rumors circling their marriage:
"[Rumors] seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It's perplexing. I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story. We've been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out. We don't even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is [when we] worry about the kids. But they've been around it, too, so they laugh it off."
Hill also put to rest all of those pesky baby rumors, telling Entertainment Weekly:
"No more kids. ...I can't even imagine. When we first got married...we talked about five, and then we made it three. I don't know why happiness doesn't sell. I don't know why tragedy sells and untruth sells, but again, you just have to stop buying the stuff."
It was the laughable National Enquirer who first started rumors of a divorce. Not only did the publication claim McGraw cheated on his wife with Taylor Swift, it also asserted that Tim was gay.
According to a “source” (who we all know doesn’t really exist), Tim frequently engaged in gay antics. The alleged insider also claims to have performed alongside McGraw:
“I’m going to tell stories about how Tim made comments, and complimented some band members on the size of their manhood, as they played along with his practical jokes. They would have contests to see who could top the other with the wildest horseplay. And they would trade stories--half of them revolving around someone getting naked and doing something crazy."
