Simon Cowell, who is now involved in a cheating scandal, may soon have a wedding on his hands. We've got a full update about Lauren Silverman's pregnancy and what the future may hold for Simon.
It appears there may be trouble in paradise for TV judge and music producer Simon Cowell. Reports circulated yesterday that he got a very good friend's wife pregnant. Since then, more revelations have surfaced.
Today, The Daily Mail is reporting that a source close to the soon-to-be couple has gone on record as saying:
"Lauren is now going around telling people that she will be in charge of all his [Cowell’s] properties around the world and has demanded a country home in the Cotswolds. She has also threatened not to allow him access to the child unless he marries her.
Lauren has also started to push Simon to turn her into a reality TV star. She wants her own show like the Kardashians and has already apparently started filming the pregnancy. Simon is horrified and has said no. He [Cowell] is already talking about creating separate baby wings in all his homes for Lauren and the baby.
His mansions are huge and he will effectively be allowed to carry on with his own life without disruption."
Cowell, who is now 53, appears to be dating the current wife of good friend Andrew Silverman. Silverman is a millionaire who made major bucks in the real estate market and is still married to Lauren Silverman.
A source has confirmed to US Weekly that the pair is quite an item, telling the gossip magazine that:
"Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while. As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close."
That’s not all the source claimed either, revealing that Lauren is pregnant with Simon’s baby...adding that she is ten weeks pregnant.
It’s no secret that Mrs. Silverman is much younger than Cowell. The 36-year-old is 17 years the music critic’s junior and it shows.
That’s not the only secret either. Mr. Cowell has gone on the record as not wanting children in the past. In fact, just last year, he told the press that:
“I do really, really like kids, because I can talk to them and listen to them. The problem has always been how much time you need to devote to bringing up kids. I've always dedicated all my life to work, and at 52, I've probably missed the opportunity."
