David Kidd Kraddick Dead, One Direction Harry Styles and Jonas Brothers Respond [UPDATE]

Legendary radio host, David “Kidd” Kraddick, is dead. The star passed away at a charity event in New Orleans. In the wake of this tragic news, there has been an outpouring of love and support from fellow celebrities like Harry Styles and The Jonas Brothers. We will keep you posted as updates come in.

David was the host of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. While the show was based in Texas, it was syndicated in over 75 different markets. Kraddick even appeared on the television show Dish Network.

The company responsible for syndicating his morning show, is YEA Networks. That company has released a statement concerning Kidd’s untimely passing:

"All of us with YEA Networks and the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning crew are heartbroken over the loss of our dear friend and leader. Kidd devoted his life to making people smile every morning, and for 21 years his foundation has been dedicated to bringing joy to thousands of chronically and terminally ill children. He died doing what he loved, and his final day was spent selflessly focused on those special children that meant the world to him."

YEA Networks wasn’t the only group to issue a statement. A ton of celebrities have tweeted out special messages to the radio star they loved.

Harry Styles of One Direction tweeted that he was, ‘Absolutely devastated to hear about the sad passing of Kidd Kraddick. He was always so nice and will be incredibly missed. Lovely man. RIP.”

Not to be outdone, The Jonas Brothers also tweeted their thoughts. First, was Joe Jonas who said, “the sad sad news about Kidd Kraddick is shocking. He will be missed greatly.” Nick Jonas, on the other hand, seemed in disbelief, telling the world, “Really hope this is not true about Kidd Kraddick. You will be missed.”
