UPDATE: "Stephen Paulus Suffered a Stroke," Confirms Publisher

Paulus Publications, the family-owned operation of prolific Minnesotan Stephen Paulus, has posted a much more somber update regarding the composer's "major medical incident."

Classicalite quotes: "We are deeply saddened to report that Stephen Paulus suffered a stroke on July 4, 2013. He's currently in critical but stable condition at a Twin Cities hospital. At this time, information about his future recovery is still unclear. The family appreciates everyone's support, but have requested privacy while they cope with this situation. As more information becomes available, we will update our website and our Facebook page."

Lest you be still concerned about your order at a time like this, Paulus Publications does note the following:

"For our customers, please know that Paulus Publications is still operating, and we currently plan for a normal delivery time for most orders. If your order will be impacted by this situation, we will contact you directly as soon as possible. We would like to thank the community and our customers for their understanding, patience and support as we wish for Stephen to make a speedy recovery."

Once more, Classicalite hopes that Stephen Paulus does indeed come home soon.
