Things have been a bit of roller coaster for Johnny Depp lately. He kicked the year off with a hit musical, Disney’s Into the Woods, followed by a major box office bomb, Mortdecai. Depp also made a very bizarre speech at the Hollywood Film Awards, where he was possibly drunk. He then missed a press event in Japan, blaming a fight with the mythical beast, the chupacabra, for his absences. Recently, he made a few disparaging remarks about actors launching music careers. However, the it looks like the roller might be heading for another up. Depp recently, and some-what secretly, married his girlfriend Amber Heard on Tuesday.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married this week in a very low key ceremony in their L.A home. The happy couple are still set to have a bigger ceremony over the weekend.
We are wondering what crazy vows that Depp might dream up. Nothing could be better than the excuse he gave for missing a press event in Japan, saying (via USAToday):
"I was attacked yesterday morning by a very rarely seen or experienced animal called 'chupacabra.' I fought with it for hours. They're very persistent, very mean. And I'm pretty sure it came into my suitcase. I threw him off the 23rd floor. So we'll never see him again. Thank you for understanding."
We wish Johnny Depp and his new wife all the best in their lives together. May they be free of mythical beast battles.
