George Clooney Wife Amal Alamuddin Pregnant Baby Bump Revealed after Batman Launches New Sitcom for Sony? [RUMORS NEWS]

According to the latest gossip news updates, George Clooney's new wife's baby bump is growing just as fast as the rumors that she is pregnant. Word has it that less than three months after their spectacular wedding in Venice, Amal Alamuddin can barely hide the fact that she is showing, and friends suggest they will make an announcement about their burgeoning family before the new year. Since tying the knot, ole Batman has been busy at work preparing a A-list sitcom package for Sony about Hollywood of the 1990s.

When word first went round just before their wedding in September that Amal Alamuddin was pregnant with George Clooney's first child, it was dismissed along with so many of the other ridiculous rumors at the time, but wouldn't you know, just like a little baby in a belly the story keeps growing.

A friend of the couple explained in Star Magazine's latest December 22, issue that although the Clooney's aren't the type to put the word out prematurely, folks close to them are ready to have their pregnancy suspensions confirmed any day now:

"They aren't the type of people to tell anyone Amal is pregnant until the timing is right, but she definitely has a new layer of happiness to her that we can't ignore.

"When her family asks if she's pregnant, she just laughs and jokes that they are being nosy, but she's never denied it."

The source goes on to say that even though George use to be dead set against the idea of having children, that all seemed to go right out the window the day he met Amal:

"Ever since he met Amal, he's been telling friends that he's ready.

"We're all hoping for an announcement at this year's Christmas party!"

After finally getting married against all odds, you might think that George would want to just hang out around the house for a few months and enjoy it, but he has apparently been hard at work putting together a show that kind of sounds like Entourage only set in 1993.

According to a new report by Variety, Clooney and Peter Tolan are all set to make a comedy that shows the underbelly of their business from a distance:

"George Clooney has assembled an A-list package for a TV series set in the 1990s at a Hollywood studio.

"Peter Tolan is set to write the script, and Bennett Miller, riding high on the awards buzz for Foxcatcher, is on board to direct the pilot for Sony Pictures TV, where Clooney's Smokehouse has an overall deal."

Right now, there is no news to indicate where the new show will end up, but let's hope it's HBO.

After all...who else could do a better job with Entourage 2?
