Florida State QB Jameis Winston Overcomes Rape and Gambling RUMORS to Defeat Georgia Tech

The Florida State Seminoles have had another successful season. The team has managed to overcome the intense amount of drama surrounding Jameis Winston's rape allegations and claims that the quarterback may be involved in illegal gambling. Now Winston and the Seminoles have defeated Georgia Tech and are headed to the playoffs. Is a national championship in the cards?

Florida State has proven that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Their star quarterback Jameis Winston has been absolutely slammed this season. The accusations are numerous, some involving point shaving and rape.

Any team who can hold it together while their captain gets constantly shot may stand a chance at the title.

Winston is currently in the middle of Student Conduct Hearings to determine the details of his alleged rape.

Rumors have been flying that Winston's accuser actually tried to extort the star for millions. Now, Jameis is in front of a judge and, according to TMZ Sports, Winston claims the 2012 rape was nothing more than consensual sex:

"Winston says he did NOT buy the woman a drink at the bar...and NEVER offered her any drugs...[but at] Winston's dorm room, the QB says they immediately began hooking up...Jameis stated, 'Almost immediately upon our arrival, (NAME REDACTED) and I went into my bedroom. We were standing facing each other, kissing and touching each other's bodies. I eventually asked (NAME REDACTED) if she would perform oral sex on me. She said that she would. The lights in my bedroom were on and (NAME REDACTED) willingly performed oral sex on me. While (NAME REDACTED) was performing oral sex, I was close enough to my dresser to reach over to it, open a drawer, and retrieve a condom.'"

The confession goes in an even more detailed and crude direction after this.

Still, it remains to be seen what kind of consequences Winston will face for his actions off the field. However, According to ESPN, Winston's performance on the field has been commendable:

"Florida State has made its case to play for a second straight national championship, finishing the season unbeaten as Jameis Winston threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns, and the Seminoles...held off Georgia Tech 37-35 Saturday night to win their third consecutive ACC championship."
