The Bravo network apparently learned its lesson last year when the producers accidentally wound up signing on two dubs, Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, for the usually highly contentious Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast. This time around they aren't taking any chances and have stacked the deck with two newcomers and one old Season 3 favorite. It has already been reported that Days of Our Lives soap star Lisa Rinna is joining the Season 5 family, but word also has it that a recently grief stricken Eillen Davidson, whose niece and sister both passed away separately earlier this year, will also be joining the reality TV show. According to the latest gossip news reports the Bravo powers that be are even bringing back Brandi Glanville Twitter feud fighter, Adrienne Maloof. When Maloof originally quit the series, she refused to even appear on the final season reunion recap. Spoilers: Adrienne claims that she is returning to make amends, but she could just as plausibly be returning to settle old scores.
Bravo has finally bolstered the depleted Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ranks and them some after producers unceremoniously dismissed dead weight Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud at the end of last season.
It has been reported that soap opera actress, Eileen Davidson, has been added to the cast, but it seems doubtful that she will seem in too high of spirits by the time the Bravo cameras start rolling, given that she has dealt with the loss of her niece and sister since March of this year.
A concerned friend revealed that the deaths have really taken a toll on Eileen these past few months (via Radar Online):
"It was an emotional one-two punch for Eileen.
"First, her beloved sister Connie died after a seven-year battle with Breast Cancer on March 21.
"Then, Brooke died unexpectedly in her sleep at home...It was a terrible spring for Eileen."
Adrienne Maloof, on the other hand is as emotional and mentally sound as she has, perhaps, ever been and is more than ready to get back on Housewives to fix what went wrong the first go around.
During a recent interview the returning Beverly Hills starlet claimed that she was looking to do things differently this time (via Today):
"I was approached by the producers to come back...It just made sense to maybe take this and come full circle from where I left off.
"There were some unfinished situations that I felt the need to kind of mend."
Not only is Maloof seemingly looking forward to mixing it up with the former bane of her existence, Brandi Glanville, Adrienne also seems excited to be hanging out with Lisa Rinna:
"She has been around [the show] enough to kind of see what it is...She's not going to take any nonsense."
This should make for a very good year for the fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
