Married Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Divorce: Split Net Worth After Cheating Husband Gives Up? [VIDEO]

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon and his "Butterfly" wife Mariah Carey have been doing their best to keep the media out of their marriage since rumors started to circulate that they were ready for divorce, thanks to the Wild N Out star's public admission that he slept with Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Kim Kardashian. According to the latest tabloid gossip news updates, Nick still wants to split so bad he can't hardly stand it. The alleged cheater is said to be tired of living his life according to his crazy wife's demands and wants out. Apparently all that is left to do now is divide up their reported half-a-billion dollar net worth and decides who gets custody of the kids on the weekends.

At one time, they seemed practically inseparable when in public, but these days Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are said to be living different lives as they ready for divorce.

According to an insider who spoke to In Touch Weekly for their latest August 11 issue, Cannon just can't take Carey's co-dependency anymore, so when he's alone, Nick allegedly pretends there is no Mariah:

"They've been fighting for months...They're in a very bad place.

"Mariah needs and wants a man to be at her back and call, but Nick is bored with having to cater to her all the time.

"Nick goes out of town on his own and behaves like a single guy--buying drinks for pretty women and ogling the hottest chicks."

The source goes on to claim that they each have too much energy invested in other things to really care about fixing their marriage:

"It's pretty much over...They're both pouring themselves into their careers, and neither seems interested in fighting to save their marriage.

"Mariah and Nick are trying to figure out a way to move forward that protects their kids."

That having all been said, a completely different source sited by In Touch claims that they may be busy, but they're not at all unhappy with their marriage or each other:

"They both work so much that they're no always in the same place at the same time...[but] there is no problem with them."

Why should Nick even bother divorcing Mariah anyways?

At her age, he'll be single soon enough regardless.
