Award-winning Black Americana duo The War And Treaty, comprising husband-and-wife singer-songwriters Michael and Tanya Trotter, raises the temperature with their new passion-filled single: "Stealing a Kiss."
Released last Friday, March 22, the new song is essentially a sonic manifestation of the pair's incontestable chemistry, culminating in a masterful and seductive display of soul underscored by classic country soundscapes that crescendo into a spicy full-sounding climax.
"This song feels like a shot of Red Bull after an 8-hour shift with two more to go," explained Michael. "Tanya and I are super excited to deliver this envelope of country soul to our world."

About The War And Treaty Duo
Tracing their start in 2014, the duo of Michael and Tanya Trotter has since blossomed into one of the most exciting musical acts in the Americana music scene in the last decade.
Recently, they gained career-first Grammy nods for Best New Artist and one for the Best American Roots Song award for their track "Blank Page," alongside receiving their first Duo of the Year nom from the Country Music Association in 2023.
"Stealing A Kiss" also marks the duo's first single since the release of their major label debut "Lover's Game" (2023), which their "Blank Page" is a part of.

In addition, the soulful Americana duo is currently nominated for two CMT Music Awards Duo/Group Video of the Year for "Have You A Heart" and CMT Performance of the Year for "On My Own," which honored the late Patti LaBelle on CMT Smashing Glass.
The War And Treaty fans can vote daily for the duo until the April 7 show at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas that will be aired live on CBS.
As for forthcoming dates, the pair will appear at the Mavis Staples 85th Birthday Concert, Stagecoach, CMA Fest, in performances across Europe, and several tour stops with Zach Bryan.
